A few things to do before I arrive:
1. Provide Tank Access
First, If your covers are not above ground, then please dig at least 3 inches (the depth of the covers) around your septic tank covers to provide the cleanest cover replacement.
Next, please unlock and remove any locks or chains restricting tank access.
See images below:

2. Supply Running Water
Please provide access to a hose (with a jet nozzle if available). It should reach far enough to allow for cleaning far from the house and important yard areas.
The Inspection Process
1. Cover Removal
We will remove the tank covers. You are welcome to watch and ask questions if you wish.

2. Measuring Fluid Levels
Here are some examples of passing fluid levels - less than 1/3 Sludge and Scum.

3. County Reports
We will complete your county reports. We like to make notes about your inspection on the card that the county sent to you. We will leave that card for you to keep as confirmation of our visit.
If you live in Dodge or Iowa County, we will fill out your county paperwork during the inspection. You then you sign and return the form to the county with the appropriate fee.
For all other counties, we will fill out your county card and leave as a receipt of our visit. We will complete the official report online. You have nothing more to do.
